Celebrate CAL Law's achievements over the past ten years.
Illustrate the direct impact of donor contributions on the community and the legal profession.
Foster emotional connections between donors and CAL Law’s mission and programs.
Provide a memorable presentation for the donor conference at UC Davis Law.
Approach: To effectively engage the audience, I employed a storytelling approach that featured personal testimonials from beneficiaries, alumni, and faculty members alongside key insights from board members. This comprehensive strategy included:
Interviews with Board Members: Filming board members allowed us to provide a strategic overview of CAL Law’s mission, vision, and projects. They articulated the organization’s values and emphasized the importance of donor support, reinforcing the direct correlation between contributions and the programs' success.
Beneficiary Testimonials: Conducting heartfelt interviews with individuals whose lives have been transformed by CAL Law’s initiatives. Their stories highlighted the practical outcomes of the support received and the ongoing needs of the organization.
Visual Storytelling: Using dynamic visuals and B-roll footage of CAL Law events, classes, and community outreach programs to create a vibrant narrative that showcases daily activities and long-term projects.
